Google Sheets Setup Guide

Verify emails in Google Sheets using a single formula and a bulk sidebar workflow.

Single formula: =BOUNCELY_VERIFY(A2)

Bulk: Use the Bulk Verify sidebar

1. Install the add-on

  1. Install Bouncely from Google Workspace Marketplace.
  2. Open a sheet and go to Extensions → Bouncely.

2. Set API key

  1. Extensions → Bouncely → Set API Key
  2. Paste your key and save

3. Verify a single email

Use the formula in a new column and fill down:

=BOUNCELY_VERIFY(A2)

4. Bulk verify using the sidebar

  1. Select your email range (single column, e.g. A2:A2001).
  2. Extensions → Bouncely → Bulk Verify (Sidebar).
  3. Keep the sidebar open to see live progress.
  4. Bouncely inserts a new column after the email column and writes results there.

5. Rate limits

  • Per-key: 300/minute, 1,200/hour, 10,000/day.
  • Per-IP: 120/minute.
  • Bulk requests are per-call, max 2,000 emails per request.
